Women in Leadership
We all now understand the importance of women in the Board room, but “strengthening the executive pipeline is the longer term task…” (Davies Review annual report 2014). Davies commends organisations providing mentoring, coaching, diagnostics and route maps for aspiring women.
Between 2011 and 2015, we developed the ‘Advancing Women in the Workplace’ programme for Birmingham City Council. The value of the programme has, if anything, increased at a time of unprecedented financial pressures and change – the talent pipeline is more important than ever. We are now offering places on a similar programme to Housing Associations and other organisations who wish to develop their future women leaders.

Marianne Skelcher CFCIPD, Chartered Director, Executive Coaching Advanced Practitioner Diploma With over 25 years’ experience as a facilitator, coach and trainer, Marianne is recognised for her success in delivering business results through making work a great place to be for everyone. She was previously Group Director of Human Resources for Bromford Housing Group. Lynne Howells MA Lynne has been an executive coach for c. 30 years, working with leaders from across sectors. She trained with Richard Bolles in Oregon USA, a world leader in career designing and development. Lorna Wallace-Davis MSc HRD & Change Management, CQSW, Cert in Workplace Mediation, Cert in Executive Coaching & Leadership mentoring Lorna is an experienced change agent, action learning set facilitator and a trained mediator. She was a successful senior manager in a large complex and multi-dimensional organisation for over ten years. |
