Executive Team Development
The public and not for profit sectors are experiencing unprecedented change. The ability of leaders to be inspirational, visionary and approachable is more important than ever. We know that during difficult times focusing on developmental activity can sometimes slip down the priority list; yet it is precisely during these times that leaders need to examine their approach and ensure that their skills are well honed and kept up to date. Knowledge is only one aspect, people skills and emotional intelligence also play a crucial part in managing change. Knowing yourself and your people and what makes them perform is what will carry your organisation through challenging times.
Central’s leadership development programme, a three day programme designed specifically for leadership teams to undertake together, not only provides opportunities for reflection but also opportunities to cement leadership priorities and agree the vision for going forward. Its purpose is to enable team members to role model appropriate leadership behaviours, such as those necessary to deliver a desired cultural change. The programme is supported by one to one coaching, recognising that this is often the most effective learning and skill development route at the most senior level.
The programme supports the team to examine the current and future values of the organisation, linking in with their leadership skills, exploring leadership styles and locating the values of the organisation within an enabling culture.
