UK GDPR & BREXIT
Designed specifically for Data Protection Officers or staff who enforce or manage data protection, Governance Officers and Company Secretaries.
With the UK's transition period having ended on 31st December 2020 and the GDPR being brought into UK law, there have been changes to the regulation. In this online course, staff will understand what they need to do to create a system of procedures and policies to keep data safe and to avoid a breach which could result in significant fines. They will learn a brief history of the GDPR, the principles of the GDPR in the UK, how to comply with the principles, their role in upholding data protection rights and how it affects the housing sector.
