Qualifications: Bsc Social Psychology (Hons) Dip Applied Social Sciences, Dip Social Work, CCETSW, Dip Management, Level 4 – Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector
Nick has over thirty-two year’s management experience working in voluntary, community and statutory sector organisations; in children and youth services, youth homelessness, social housing, community and neighbourhood investment sectors. Nick is a qualified Social Worker and has worked in child protection, youth services and youth justice services. He has also worked for a national voluntary agency where he was a Deputy Manager of a Children and Young People’s Centre with responsibility for leaving care, involving setting up an independence unit and accommodation units directly in the community. He previously worked for North Yorkshire County Council Youth Service Unit as Development Officer for Leaving Care and Homelessness setting up policies and strategies working with multiple agency forums developing services. He worked for William Sutton Housing Association / Affinity Sutton as Head of Community Investment for ten years. Nick is currently a Trustee of Forster Community College, Bradford and leads their premises and resources sub-committee.
