Training on scrutiny
This programme of two half-days is for tenants and others involved in scrutiny, governance or other forms of engagement with their Landlord. This course explains why “knowledge is power”, why understanding figures is key to understanding the world, and how to both gather and make sense of information to assess how their Landlord is performing.

- make sense of the information they receive, in particular statistics, figures and reports;
- ask questions about that information;
- identify what additional information they may need in order to fully to undertake their responsibilities and scrutinise their Landlord’s performance;
- know how to go about collecting that information and triangulate different information sources.
