An accomplished and experienced human resources and organisational development practitioner, with a broad based multi-sector background specialising in developing people to deliver organisational success. Previously Director of Organisational Development in a social housing company in South Wales, covering organisational development, human resources, health and safety, learning and development, equality, diversity and inclusion. Amanda was Chair of the Welsh Housing Equalities Network, and a Board Member for Academi Wales. In previous roles Amanda was Head of HR for GO Shared Services, where she led an HR and Payroll shared service, including health and safety, learning and organisational development, plus a single integrated technology platform (Agresso BW) across four councils and two organisations - with associated HR implications including TUPE, change organisational development and design. Amanda has also implemented single status projects, senior management restructures, coaching and mentoring programmes, HR service planning and performance metrics improvement, organisational improvement, complex case management, changes to terms and conditions, employee and Trade Union negotiation. As a consultant Amanda recently co-created and delivered an organisational development strategy, and an equality and diversity strategy, with associated interventions and improvement metrics (absence reduction, customer and staff satisfaction improvements). Amanda is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and specialises in getting complex things done simply, fairly, and effectively, at least cost and fuss. |
