Qualifications: Chartered MCIPD, Diploma in Person Centred Therapy, accredited by the BACP (British Associated for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and Mediator accredited CEDR (Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution)
Linda has more than 20 years’ experience in human resource management and organisation development gained from working in a diverse range of organisations in the charity sector, national regional and local, many of which work in partnership with the statutory sector to deliver local services. Linda has operated as a management consultant for the past 8 years and prior to that spent 7 years at the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) as Head of HR. In her consultancy capacity Linda has substantial experience of managing major change, most recently through a one year interim change manager role with a leading disability sport charity.
Linda’s professional training and experience as both a counsellor and a mediator underpin her technical knowledge and expertise gained from senior HR roles.
Linda is one of Central’s regular and highly experienced coaching team. She has for a number of years coached senior managers and officers in housing associations and Local Authorities and also as part of management and leadership programmes.
Linda’s approach to coaching is a person centred one, focussing on the relationship between the coach and the coachee and how they work together, as well as establishing a clear focus and process for the coaching both overall and at each session. In short-term coaching, the relationship and rapport between the coach and the coachee are absolutely paramount.
