Solihull Community Housing

Solihull Community Housing was formed by Solihull Council in 2004 as an ‘Arms Length’ Management Organisation for its social housing stock. SCH is governed by a Board of fifteen unpaid non-executive directors and has introduced a continuing Member development programme to ensure that individually and collectively the Board has the necessary skills to provide effective governance.

Central Consultancy & Training has worked with us on a number of projects, the most recent being a ‘whole Board appraisal project’ in 2006. This was delivered by Patricia McCabe and I am happy to recommend her company to other organisations with similar needs. She demonstrated a high level of skills and knowledge, quickly established an excellent rapport with Board Members and the executive team and delivered the project within agreed timescales and budget. We would anticipate using them again in the future
